Dear Praying and Supporting Friends,
Ministry News
We want to thank you for your prayers. God is good. Gustavo is still going through his cancer battle, but our church is learning to trust God through this trial.
In July, we were extremely blessed to be part of two conferences. I was able to preach at a missions conference in Limeira, about 3 hours from our home. It was a real blessing.
We translate, print, and distribute high-quality Christian books to our Brazilian Christians. This year, we successfully launched two new books. My wife wrote a book for pastors’ wives in Portuguese. These dear women have very little, if any, training to help their husbands effectively, and it is our great desire to encourage them and help them become the best pastors’ wives they can be. We are very excited about this book. We were also able to translate and print Pastor John Wilkerson’s book on 1 Timothy.
Along with these two books, we launched our Sunday School line. These Sunday School lessons are designed to help our churches have good, God-centered material. We are very excited about the new material.
We have been blessed with visitors in church, and we have been so happy to see souls saved. Most recently, 3 teens stopped in on a hot night for a cup of water. They left with the living water in their souls. Praise the Lord for his salvation.
Family News
Thank you for your prayers for Rebekah. She has been attending physical therapy sessions and is much more mobile, and her pain levels have decreased dramatically. She still has rough days and is not entirely pain-free, but she is doing much better than she was, for which we praise the Lord.
We want to ask you to pray for Jeff, and his dear wife, Rebecka. They are raising support to come to Brazil. He will be establishing our deaf church and helping us in our other ministries. They plan to come mid 2026. They have cleared 55% of their support, but they need to finish raising the rest. If you are interested in having them in, their contact is: [email protected]
In His Service,
Bryan and Rebekah Johnson
