About Us
Jeff Johnson
I was saved at the age of four, and had the wonderful privilege of growing up on the mission field. At the age of seven, God called me to be a missionary to Brazil, and I began learning many things to help me do just that. I attended Hyles-Anderson College, where I received my Bachelors of Science.
About Us
Rebecka Johnson
I was born to a Christian family, and was saved at the age of four after listening to a Patch the Pirate CD. God burdened my heart for missions in high school after a missionary to the Ukraine presented his ministry to my school. I attended college, where I began dating Jeff, and he was very upfront with his calling to Brazil. I quickly knew that I would be following him there.
Ministries
These are some of the ministries that Jeff and Rebecka will be involve with in Brazil.
Church Planting
The main goal of the Johnson family is to plant indigenous local churches in Brazil. Jeff and Rebecka will be helping in his parents' church while learning under their leadership. They will also be involved in planting churches in the São Paulo region. All of their other ministries revolve around the local church. Each ministry is an extension of the local church and has the goal of training others to be able to reproduce through both new Christians and new churches.
Soul Winning
One of the main ministries that the Johnsons will be involved with is that of Soul Winning. This is the main responsibility of Christians and local churches and will be a key part of every week.
Translation Work
Jeff has been working with ELO to translate Christian books and music into the Portuguese language.
Online Radio Ministry
Jeff and Rebecka will be helping record and produce both music and programing for the online radio station that his parents have started.
Online College
One of the Johnsons future goals is to start an online college to train national pastors, missionaries and Christians for the work of the Lord.
