Bryan & Rebekah Johnson – Prayer Letter April, 2024

Dear Praying and Supporting Friends,

Right after our dedication service, we were robbed.  They took most of our sound equipment, our computer, our handicapped railing that we still needed to install in the handicapped bathroom, our Lord Supper set, and the manger scene along with a few odds and ends.  Praise the Lord nearly everything has been repurchased and we were protected from harm by the robber, keeping in mind we live in our church building.  Thank you to all who noticed our post on Facebook about this and gave to help us recover what has been stolen.

Despite this setback, we have made great strides in continuing to remodel our factory-turned church into a usable living and working space.  We now have a completed church office, and Sunday school space, and our living space is coming along. This week our kitchen was finally installed.  Rebekah is thrilled to have a kitchen after 6 months.

We have been blessed with many visitors and much interest in our new location.  The teens go out soulwinning on Saturday and the church members go out on Sunday morning after church.  More and more of our members are taking tracts home and John and Romans to give out.  We are excited to see what the future holds for our church.  Already our attendance has grown in the new location and we see great things in the future.

Be in prayer for George and Vanessa.   They have visited our church and have expressed interest in attending our church.  We do not know if they are truly saved.  They are currently members of a Pentecostal church.

Thank you for the prayers for Carol, our member who had a brain tumor.  She has now been tumor-free for one year.  She has been able to complete her discipleship and is now training to disciple others.  She has come a long way in her recovery and we are so pleased at her and her family’s spiritual growth.

We took a group to camp in February at my brother’s church.  Thank God, many decisions were made and we have seen solid spiritual growth since that camp.

I was blessed to preach at an evangelistic conference in March in Bahia for Missionary Wes Palla.  Seven precious souls accepted Christ during or as a direct result of the conference.  Some have even returned to their church.  Praise the Lord for this blessing.

In His Service,
