Dear praying and supporting friends,
We had an enjoyable start to our year. We were able to fly to the States for the wedding of one of our Brazilian friends, whom we helped get into Bible college there. We stood in as his parents, as his father is in heaven, and his mother was unable to attend. Then we welcomed our second grandbaby on January 25th. God is good.
We returned and hit the ground running. Praise the Lord, the first week back, one of our Sunday School boys finally realized his need for salvation. Our soul-winning with the church, we were able to see another soul come to Christ. We have also been blessed with visitors. Pray with us that these dear souls will come to church and return to grow in the Lord.
We took our teens to camp and had a good time. Thank God, God really appeared to be working in the lives of our teens and the other teens at camp.
Pray with us for wisdom throughout this year. We are praying for God to give us 5 new family units to join us at church this year. Also, pray with us as our car, which we have had now for 16 years, is really beginning to give us trouble. The car is over 20 years old. We are so grateful for what God has given us, but it is about time for a new vehicle. Pray that God will show us what vehicle to purchase, and God will provide all the funds needed for the purchase.
