Please pray for the brain tumor – Bryan Johnson

Dear Praying and Supporting Friends,

Trials and Triumphs
Since our last letter we have had quite a number of trials but God has brought triumphs as well. In April we had our 5th annual Ladies Spectacular. We had a fantastic turnout and had one lady saved.

Once again we got many comments on how the day conference touched their hearts and encouraged them in Christ. We also had our first ever Easter Cantata. We were so pleased how the church members came together to make this happen. We had several visitors and the seed of salvation was planted.

May brought us our first of our trials. Rebekah’s brother-in-law, Dan Hubbard moved to heaven after a long battle with cancer on the 4th. We felt very much that we should return to the USA immediately for the funeral. We landed and the next day we attended the funeral of Rebekah’s uncle’s mother, who had passed from Dementia. Three days later we attended our second family funeral to say goodbye to Dan. Our trip to the states was very brief and before the month we were back home and back to work.

In June we enjoyed a church activity for Valentine’s day, which is on June 12 here in Brazil. All through the month of June, our very faithful member, Carol, kept mentioning exhaustion and headaches. She is a home school mom to three beautiful children. On June 26 her youngest daughter, Natasha accepted Christ as her Saviour. Three days later, Carol was put in the hospital with a 3 centimeter brain tumor. We ask you to pray for God’s complete healing. The surgery is scheduled for all day Tuesday the 12th of July.

Despite the trials we have had visitors almost every week in church. We have been able to get back to full door to door soul winning, which is a huge relief and blessing. We have had more feedback on Compassion Radio, with people listening in and lives being changed. We are going to continue doing what God called us to do, no matter what battles and trials come our way.

In His Service,

Bryan and Rebekah Johnson
